Does your boiler make a strange noise?

With boiler noise, you should be concerned if your boiler is either too noisy and also if it is too quiet. If you’re boiler is making loud banging noises, popping, rattling, whining or hissing sounds, then for safety reasons it’s best to switch the boiler off completely until it has been checked by one of our fully qualified and experienced boiler repair engineers.

You may even be able to hear a particular part making a noise such as a noisy pump or fan. Conversely if there is no noise from the boiler at all (such as a sparking noise, whirr or hum) then there may be electrical problems within, meaning your boiler won’t fire up.
